The membership categories and prices for the current season are listed below and apply for our full subscription year, which runs from 1 March to 28 February.
If you are looking to join part way through the subscription year, we pro rata the amount you pay based on the number of full months remaining in the year. If you are a starter member, we ensure you get a full year’s play at the discounted starter rate by allowing your membership to carry through to the following subscription year. We also provide a number of payment options.
All prices are inclusive of NZ Golf and Canterbury District levies and GST.

Full member | A member who is 20 years of age or more and is entitled to full playing rights, and all the privileges of the club. | $630.00 |
9 Hole Member | A member who chooses to limit their playing to 9 holes at a time (unless playing in a tournament). 9 hole members are not eligible to play for club trophies (except specific 9 hole trophies) ,shall have all other privileges of the club, but are limited to playing 9 holes on any one day (unless paying green fees for the other 9 holes) | $445.00 |
Young Adult Member | A member who is aged 21 to 25 years and is entitled to full playing rights and all the privileges of the club. | $370.00 |
Junior A | A member who is aged 18 to 20 years and is entitled to full playing rights and all the privileges of the club. | $245.00 |
Junior B | A member who is aged 15 to 18 years and is entitled to full playing rights and the use of club facilities, but is not entitled to vote at any Annual or Special General Meeting. | $130.00 |
Junior C | A member who is aged under 15 years and is entitled to full playing rights and the use of club facilities, but is not entitled to vote at any Annual or Special General Meeting. | $67.00 |
Student Member | A member aged 18 to 24 years who is in full time training at a tertiary institute or other educational establishment. Student members are entitled to full playing rights and all the privileges of the club. | $350.00 |
Summer Member | A member who is entitled to playing privileges during the period from 1 October in any year to the last day of February in the following year. Summer members may take part in competitions held during that period, but are not eligible to compete for any club trophies and have no voting rights. | $290.00 |
Starter Member | Open to new members who have not previously been a member of any NZ affiliated golf club. Starter members have full playing rights and all the privileges of the club. This class is available for the first year of membership only. | $290.00 |
Limited Member | A past or present member may re-join or transfer to this category if, due to infirmity, physical handicap or other limitation, they are unable to play 18 holes. Limited members are not eligible to have an official handicap, nor to play in club competitions. They can use all the facilities of the club and have voting rights. | $300.00 |
Social Member | A member entitled to the privileges of the club, but not having any playing or voting rights. | $65.00 |
Country Member | A member who is a full playing member of any other NZ Golf affiliated club. Country members may take part in competitions, but are not eligible to compete for any club trophies, and shall have no voting rights. | $350.00 |
Temporary Member | A member who is residing temporarily in the area and has been granted short term membership on conditions that the committee may in its absolute discretion think fit. | POA |
